1. Bentonville Farmers Market

The first Northwest Arkansas farmers market you should have on your list is the Bentonville Farmers Market. It’s a sight to behold, spanning the entire Bentonville square. You can visit the Bentonville Farmers Market every Saturday from 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM. I should note that, in Bentonville, the farmer’s market season starts in early April.

If you couldn’t make it out to the farmers market on Saturday, it’s also open on Thursdays. You can visit the Bentonville Farmers Market every Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

My favorite thing about the Bentonville Farmers Market is its mobile app. The app allows you to pre-order everything you need from the farmer’s market. Then, when you arrive at the square, you let them know you’ve arrived. Once the Bentonville Farmers Market staff get word that you’re there, they’ll bring your order straight to your car!

I love the Bentonville Farmers Market app because it’s so convenient. Sometimes, I’m too busy to have a walk around the whole farmers market, especially since the Bentonville Farmers Market is huge. But with the app, I can conveniently pre-order and don’t have to spend a single second walking around the market, which makes for convenient quick trips.

My next highlight of the Bentonville Farmers Market is their vegetables. My favorite thing about their vegetables is the selection. There are plenty of vegetables there that you can’t find at a grocery store.

For instance, if you’re searching for a seasonal vegetable in Northwest Arkansas, it’ll hit the shelves of the Bentonville Farmers Market first. If you’re looking for unique vegetables, the Bentonville Farmers Market is sure to have what you need.

What’s more, all the vegetables at the Bentonville Farmers Market are grown locally and seasonally. So, you end up with fresher vegetables than anything you’ll find at a grocery store.

On top of everything I’ve already mentioned, the Bentonville Farmers Market is more of an experience than a market. Every Saturday, they host games, and loads of food trucks are scattered around the market.

I appreciate that the folks at the Bentonville Farmers Market go the extra mile to make your farmers market experience more than a walk through the grocery store.

2. Rogers Farmers Markets

Another great farmers market in the Northwest Arkansas region is in Rogers. There are two farmers’ markets in Rogers! One of them is located in the heart of downtown Rogers, and the other is closer to I-49. My favorite of the two is the Downtown Rogers Farmer’s Market because of its location. You can easily hop on your bike and ride to the farmers market if you live in Rogers.

Also, there are plenty of great sights around the Downtown Rogers Farmers Market. If you’re riding your bike into the Downtown Rogers Farmers Market, there’s a good chance you’ll ride around Lake Atalanta or the Razorback Greenway.

Aside from its great location, the Downtown Rogers Farmers Market has delicious food. There are plenty of items available in the farmer’s market that are only local to Northwest Arkansas. I love to grab a bite to eat, then head over to one of the nearby sights like Lake Atalanta, to enjoy a nice picnic.

The Rogers Farmers Market opens for the season in early April. Plus, they’re open for two days a week. The Downtown Rogers Farmers Market operates every Wednesday and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Also, I have a 3-day itinerary that can help you decide what activities to do if you’re overwhelmed by everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer.

3. Fayetteville Farmers Market

The Fayetteville Farmers Market is similar to Bentonville, offering delicious locally grown food. The key difference between Fayetteville and Bentonville is Fayetteville has more artsy vendors. If you’re familiar with Fayetteville, you’ll have heard “keep Fayetteville funky” or “keep Fayetteville weird.” The type of art you find in Fayetteville certainly lives up to the hype!

Around the Fayetteville Farmers Market, you’ll find all kinds of interesting paintings and other artistic knick-knacks sold right in the farmers market.

Like Bentonville, Fayetteville also has a mobile app for its farmer’s market. The Fayetteville Farmers Market’s mobile app allows you to order on your phone and have your groceries brought straight to your car.

My favorite part about the Fayetteville Farmers Market is its early start time. The Fayetteville Farmers Market opens for operation in early March! Plus, they end their season late, running right through December.

Christmas is the best time to spend in Fayetteville because they go all out. You’ll want to check out the Fayetteville Farmers Market every Saturday morning from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

4. Farmington Farmers Market

The final farmers market in Northwest Arkansas I’ll talk about is the Farmington Farmers Market. If you’re not familiar with Northwest Arkansas geography, Farmington is a town next to Fayetteville. Farmington has its own farmers market in a massive park called Laker Park in the downtown area.

Similar to Bentonville, Farmington makes its farmer’s market an experience. There are loads of fun games, activities, and food trucks in the Farmington Farmers Market.

The Farmington Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If you’re in the area, I recommend that you go: It’s a ton of fun!
