1. Bentonville Taco & Tamale

The first business we’ll discuss is Bentonville Taco & Tamale Co. This just opened in downtown Bentonville two weeks ago. It has been crazy busy around there. I haven’t gotten there yet, but I heard people rave about it. Just to let you know, I’m a huge fan of tamales. If you say tamales, I’ll be there in a second.

It’s mind-blowing when you put tacos and tamales together. I’m trying it out in the next couple of weeks. But I’ve heard so many good things about tacos and tamales. I’ve heard the wait is a little longer on certain days because it’s so popular and good.

So if you are coming down to Bentonville, check out this restaurant. One of the best things I love about this area is that it’s on the square. So you’re not only going to have tacos and tamales, you’re going to have ice cream and all sorts of different things right in the whole area.

You can make a whole-day event around Bentonville City Square because it kind of butts up next to the park, the splash pad, and the ice-skating rink in case it’s winter. It is also connected to the Slaughter Pen Trail.

2. Dollar Slice Club

The next place in Fayetteville, in the Dixon Street Center area, is Dollar Slice Club. If you don’t know what the Dollar Slice Club is, it’s part of the Dollar Eats franchise business model.

So essentially, you get a membership fee to the actual business, and then you get discounts for pizza and all sorts of other businesses under the whole Dollar Eats branch. So for instance, they have the Dollar Dog Club, the Dollar Pretzel Club, and the Dollar Taco Club. They have all sorts of different clubs that you can join, be part of, and get steep discounts on the food.

The fun thing about the whole Dollar Slice Club is that it’s conveniently located on Dixon Street, so it’s kind of like this exciting college draw. And on Dixon street, if you’re not aware, it’s definitely more of a college area, but you see people in their middle ages and college-age kind of interacting together.

Dixon Street is an excellent place to hang out on Friday or Saturday nights. What I find fascinating about this whole thing is that when you order a slice of pizza, it is a massive slice of pizza.

They’re pretty good pizzas. I’m kind of a pizza connoisseur, and I’ve tasted a lot of pizzas in my life. So when I tried the Dollar Slice Club, I was very impressed. Not the best pizza in the world, but for a dollar, you’re not going to go wrong. So check out the Dollar Slice Club on Dixon Street when you come to Fayetteville.

In case you brought your children with you to the area, you can check out my article on the best things to do with children in Fayetteville.

3. Crumbl Cookie – Rogers

The next business we’ll discuss is the new Crumbl Cookies in Rogers.

If you’re not privy to Crumbl Cookies in your area, you need to check it out. I’ve never seen such good cookies in my life. You might think, “how good can these be?” Well, it’s life-changing cookies – you’re going to walk in one person, and then you’re going to walk out a whole different person when you eat these cookies.

They’re making a nationwide spread because they’re so good and trendy, and Crumbl Cookies lives up to the hype. I’m excited that they’re down in Northwest Arkansas. There’s one in Bentonville, and now there’s one in Rogers. There’s also one coming to Fayetteville.

I probably shouldn’t get too addicted because I’m a huge fan of cookies. I’m a massive fan of many things like pizza, cookies, and Chinese, tacos. I should probably back off a little bit, and maybe I need to do more running.

When coming down to Rogers and you haven’t experienced Crumbl Cookies, definitely check them out.

4. Resolute Performance

There’s a new business in Fayetteville, kind of in the Johnson area, called Resolute Performance. It is dedicated to athletic performance for people looking to get into sports, those in the sports industry already, college kids, or anyone in high school.

Maybe you’re thinking about bringing your kids down to Northwest Arkansas. The region has a vast sports community between baseball, football, basketball, the track community, and other sports.

If you’re concerned about getting your kid or high schooler, or maybe potentially going into college, you need to check out Resolute Performance because both its owners are highly-trained athletes. They have all the degrees necessary to train you and get you up to an optimal performance for your athletic endeavors.

If you’re concerned if there are trainers or someone particular on the athletic scene around Northwest Arkansas, you can check out their website.

5. Superfine Sweet Shoppe

Another new business in Northwest Arkansas is the Superfine Sweet Shoppe in Bentonville.

This brand new sweet shop has just entered the scene in Bentonville. The first thing you’ll notice about them is that they’ll lure you in by all the sweet stuff, but their branding is on point without a doubt.

I have yet to be there, so I think I will hit up Taco & Tamale and the Superfine Sweet Shoppe on the same day. The photos and what people have told me about it are amazing all the way around. I will check this out and let you know as soon as possible.

The Boardwalk

In addition to the businesses we discussed, Springdale just made a brand new location, The Boardwalk, for all sorts of food trucks to hang out there and bring delicious food to the whole area. There are menus for different things like Chinese and American food.

If you have friends or family, you’re coming down here, you want to sample everything, or you have one person that wants certain things, definitely check out The Boardwalk.
