5 Amazing Things Happening in Northwest Arkansas!

Northwest Arkansas is full of exciting places and activities, and it just continues to grow and improve. So, if you’re wondering what amazing things are happening in Northwest Arkansas now, you’ve come to the right place.

Northwest Arkansas is introducing many amazing things, including a new coffee shop in Bella Vista, a Nash Food Lab in Bentonville, and some new apartment buildings in Rogers. Rogers is also introducing a new Jack in the Box restaurant, but Fayetteville is bringing in a Mr. Gatti’s Family Fun Center.

1. A New Coffee Shop in Bella Vista

In my opinion, a really cool and big development is the new coffee shop coming to Bella Vista. Bella Vista is growing exponentially, and one of the cool things I’m really excited about for Bella Vista is all of the businesses moving to it.

For a long time, Bella Vista didn’t have much going on. But, when they made the bypass, which makes you cut through Bella Vista, it allowed many more businesses to come to play around the area!

The new coffee shop in Bella Vista is called Trailside Coffee, which also has a location down in Springdale. I’ve actually been to Trailside in downtown Springdale, and they have super great coffee, but what makes Trailside so unique is that you can stop on the trail to get a coffee, smoothie, or ice cream — whatever you’re in the mood for!

Therefore, the location itself of Trailside is super cool, and obviously, Bella Vista has so many trails around the whole area. It’s very similar to other coffee shops in the area that are also next to the trail systems. Therefore, be on the lookout for Trailside in Bella Vista, as it’s coming very soon!

2. A Nash Food Lab in Bentonville

Nash Food Lab is actually, technically, a food truck that travels around Northwest Arkansas, and really what they’re meant to do is be a food testing place. This is the brainchild of Delta Biscuits in downtown Bentonville — fantastic biscuits, by the way.

He also created a brainchild called Nash Nola, doing food experience and food labs. However, they’re now taking an actual food truck and putting it into Bentonville Brewing.

If this is anything like Delta Biscuits, prepare to be amazed — their smash burgers are fantastic. However, I’m sure they will expand their menu, leaning heavier into New Orleans-style food.

Nash Food Lab is opening very soon, so definitely be on the lookout for it.

3. Apartment-Style Living in Rogers

A developer from Missouri is doing their third major development here in Northwest Arkansas. They’re actually making a $55 million investment in Rogers, Arkansas, right along 49, and calling it the Junction of Scottsdale.

This will be 140 units of single bedrooms and then 86 two-bedroom apartment-style living in Rogers, Arkansas. So this is crucially important for the area because as the area grows, only some people want to or need to buy a home right away, so adding this to the area is a big win.

Not only that, but it’s going to be really close to Pinnacle Hills, so it’ll have very easy access to all the cool things when it comes to the downtown section of Rogers.

So, if you’re looking for apartments or want to move down here and need temporary housing, don’t worry. There is plenty of housing currently and plenty of housing being developed because, as you know, Northwest Arkansas is growing quite well, and many people are moving here.

4. A Jack in the Box in Rogers

The fourth cool thing coming to Northwest Arkansas is Jack in the Box, and while it’s not particularly my favorite, I know a lot of people will love it because it has everything you need in a restaurant.

Big companies are noticing the massive growth of the area, so it’s no surprise that Jack in the Box is coming to Northwest Arkansas.

So, if you’re a Jack in the Box super-fan, be sure to check out the restaurant’s grand opening in Rogers, as it’s coming very soon!

Another franchise to visit in NWA is Slim Chickens. Slim Chickens is a fast food chain from Fayetteville, and they serve amazing sauces with their chicken. For more information, check out my article about what’s great about Slim Chickens.

5. A Mr. Gatti’s Family Fun Center in Fayetteville

Lastly, Mr. Gatti’s Family Fun Center is opening in Northwest Arkansas! If you’ve never heard of Mr. Gatti’s, it’s a fun pizza place, which I like to call the “Dave and Buster’s of pizza.”

So, it’s great for kids and great for families. There are various fun activities at Mr. Gatti’s, including laser shows, games, arcades, and on top of that, pizza! As I’ve said, it’s like the Dave and Busters for pizza, so it’s a fun adventure for both kids and parents.

I’ve heard of this brand before — they’re definitely a more prominent brand — spread mainly across the Kentucky and Texas areas, so it’s cool to see them plant one in Northwest Arkansas. So, be sure to check out Mr. Gatti’s in Fayetteville!

Bonus: Nautical Bowls Is Coming to Fayetteville!

As a bonus, another amazing thing coming soon to Northwest Arkansas is Nautical Bowls, which serves a variety of health-centered acai smoothie bowls. This is an excellent location for this because the bowls are definitely more college-themed, and it will be around the college area.
