Known as one of the best restaurants in the country, Yeyo’s in Bentonville, Arkansas, is a fantastic location for fresh, delicious food. The food is made right before your eyes and is very flavorful.
Yeyo’s describes themselves as “Mexican food with soul,” and that’s a pretty good explanation of what they do. They’re a family-run business that works with local farmers to give hearty food back to that community.
I’m a massive fan of Yeyo’s and their whole approach to cuisine. They bring a lot of value to the Bentonville area and deserve more recognition. So let’s talk in-depth about Yeyo’s and other fabulous attractions in Bentonville, NWA.

Yeyo’s: An Overview
The Eighth Street Yeyo’s is probably my favorite location, but there are actually three or four versions of Yeyo’s that you can visit:
- Mezcaleria y Taqueria is the Downtown Rogers restaurant.
- There are two food trucks located Downtown and outside Natural State Beer Co.
- Yeyo’s El Alma de Mexico is the downtown section restaurant on Eighth Street Market in Bentonville and the flagship restaurant of the bunch.
My favorite is the Eighth Street Market Yeyo’s. Some of the best food is right there. The energy is wonderful, and it’s a cool place to hang out.
It’s fantastic to see the food being cooked from your table. Another great thing about this location is that it’s right across from The Momentary, where many concerts happen.
An interesting tidbit is Yeyo’s just made the New York Times’ best restaurant list in all of America. Some of you are probably wondering, “Well, what’s the big deal with this Yeyo’s place?” Let’s quickly overview what Yeyo’s is and has to offer.

Eating at Yeyo’s
Yeyo means “cool” or “nice” in Panamanian Spanish, and whether that was intended to be the meaning of the name or not, it applies to Yeyo’s.
As I mentioned, the vibe is fantastic, and people love it. That much is obvious from the reviews that describe how tasty the food is and how warm and friendly the space and owners are.
It’s also very proud to be LGBTQIA+ friendly and identifies as a veteran-owned establishment, so they’ve got a lot going for them as far as the social aspect and atmosphere is concerned.
Also, I have a 3-day itinerary that can help you decide what activities to do if you’re overwhelmed by everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer.
