TikTok/Instagram Profiles To Follow for Northwest Arkansas

Hey, everybody! I’m Phillip Shepherd, a local real estate agent in Northwest Arkansas. Today, we’re talking about some of the best profiles on Instagram and TikTok that I highly recommend you follow, especially if you’re moving or currently live here.

The best profiles to follow on Instagram and TikTok for Northwest Arkansas include the NWA Daily, Experience Fayetteville, Downtown Bentonville, KNWA News, Finding NWA, Gastronome (iamgastronome), Real Life Sarah, and All Things NWA.

1. NWA Daily

The first on the list is NWA Daily (@nwa.daily). A lot happens in Northwest Arkansas, and NWA Daily does an excellent job of ensuring that we’re updated.

They do weekly updates about what’s happening in all the cities and split it into different categories, including arts, sports, and even books. They have everything broken up into events like music and things alike, so go ahead and follow them.

It’s a really good Instagram profile to follow to stay updated with what’s going on in Northwest Arkansas. And it’s nice because they do it the week prior, so you’re ahead of the times like you’re time-traveling.

2. Experience Fayetteville

The other Instagram profile I want to talk about is Experience Fayetteville (@fayettevillear). Experience Fayetteville is like its own business, and the city hires them to do all the tourism for Fayetteville.

They have many great events around the area. So if there’s an event in Fayetteville, Experience Fayetteville will be part of it, in some shape or form. They’re also involved with all sporting events.

If you go to Fayetteville Downtown Square, they have their own business section where they have all their tourism stuff, including cool booklets you can pick up, all the maps, and cool things happening in Fayetteville.

So if you are at the square in Fayetteville, check out Experience Fayetteville and their Instagram profile. They have all sorts of cool things there and keep you up to date with all the things going on in Fayetteville, even if you’re not living here yet.

3. Downtown Bentonville

Downtown Beville (@downtownbentonville) does a great job of handling everything. The interesting difference between Experience Fayetteville and Downtown Bentonville is that Downtown Bentonville does more documentary-style stuff and high-quality videos.

And it’s interesting because they go out into the actual city and sit down with a bunch of high-influencing people in the area. It’s fun to see them sit down and talk to cool people about the upcoming events in Bentonville and all the different things about downtown Bentonville.

So it’s worthwhile to follow them both on their website and Instagram. Plus, they have a really good YouTube page as well.

4. KNWA News

If you want to keep up with the news in Arkansas, KNWA News (@knwanews) is a great Instagram profile to follow. Of course, they also have their own news station and YouTube channel.

Their Instagram is really good for keeping up to date with what’s happening — upcoming news events and things that happened recently, so they’re worth checking out.

They’re more news-centric, so if you want to stay in the loop with the news about all things Northwest Arkansas, definitely check out KNWA News.

5. Finding NWA

I would hate to re-miss Finding NWA (@findingnwa)! They’re a great Instagram profile to follow as they have gorgeous photos and keep all the cool, fun, and interesting things about Northwest Arkansas. So Finding NWA is definitely the IG profile to follow, without a doubt!

Finding NWA is like a photographer’s dream. It’s so cool because it’s almost like it’ll convince you to move to Northwest Arkansas. That profile alone will make you think, “Okay, I’m moving here.” So definitely follow Finding NWA on Instagram.

6. Gastronome (iamgastronome)

Let’s transition to food for a little bit. Gastronome (@iamgastronome) is a great profile to follow. He’s a local in Arkansas, and I don’t know anyone more dedicated to food than this gentleman, so you have to follow his profile. You can DM him any time for any recommendations, as he is fantastic at what he does.

It’s great because he levels out some of the best restaurants in Northwest Arkansas. So whether you check out his stuff or go to his website, without a doubt, you need to follow him on Instagram.

And if you’re coming to Northwest Arkansas or live here, you definitely need to check him out because he knows all things food of Northwest Arkansas.

7. Real Life Sarah

We’ve been focused on Instagram, so let’s talk about TikTok for just one specific profile: Real Life Sarah (@reallifesarah918). She’s not doing paid promotions or anything like that — she’s just living her life in Northwest Arkansas.

It’s fun to see her adventures, including going to the UP Summit, going around Bentonville, and seeing all the cool things. She goes to all these different events up to Tyson — she’s all around Northwest Arkansas!

So it’s really cool to see all the different TikToks she’s making about the area. She got pretty famous and was put on the map because she started doing a lot of TikToks about the drone service up in Pea Ridge. She has the drone service actually deliver stuff to her house, not their drones, but they’re like planes and drop things.

It went viral on TikTok for a minute, so she picked up a lot of really cool followers based on that. But it’s really cool to see her adventures around Northwest Arkansas. So if you’re more on the TikTok scene, definitely check out Real Life Sarah.

8. All Things NWA

I’d hate not to mention this fine gentleman, but oh, myself. I have my own Instagram (@all.things.nwa) profile and my own TikTok profile (@allthingsnwa)

So what I do is I take a lot of my YouTube content and chop it up, then put it on reels on both Instagram and also Facebook (@allthingsnwa) as well.

But usually, in my stories, I try to produce things I’m doing. It usually involves donkeys because I run a lot by my farm fields around my house, and there are donkeys out there. So you’ll see a lot of farm animals in my stories.
