Northwest Arkansas has been impressively growing and drawing top businesses recently. Some enjoy steady growth from local patronage, while others have been thriving tremendously, even opening new branches. So, which businesses are experiencing massive growth in NWA?
Airship Coffee at the Ledger is an impressively growing business in NWA. They are located in the Coler Mountains Preserve but plan to open more locations at the Ledger and the Pumphouse. Likewise, the Piano Bar, already flourishing in Fayetteville, will have another branch soon in Rogers.
It’s exciting to see so much success in this region, and I’ll discuss all these businesses today, hoping it entices you to consider a visit or permanent movement here soon. Let’s get started!

1. Airship Coffee at the Ledger
I have discussed Airship Coffee in many articles, including this post about drinking coffee in NWA.
They have a fantastic location in the Coler Mountains Preserve, so it’s only accessible by bike or foot.
The second location is on 5th Street in downtown Bentonville behind The Momentary. I love that place because it’s where they roast all the beans. You can enjoy the pleasant aroma of coffee roasting here.
However, they are now opening two additional locations. The first one will be underneath the Ledger. The Ledger is a brand-new building that will be finished very soon. It will be the world’s first bikeable switchback building, so you’ll be able to bike up and down the building.
Airship Coffee will be at the bottom of the first level, which is fantastic because the Ledger is a world-renowned building.
As with all other offices and stores in the building, Airship Coffee will close by 5 pm every day, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, and it will open by 7 am.
The simple menu will contain drinks and foods in the following categories:
- Espresso ($4-4.5)
- Brewed ($3.5-5+)
- Modifications ($1-1.5)
- Other drinks ($4-6+)
- Seasonal ($5-7)
- Baked food ($3-3.5)
I’m really excited about their presence because it’s closer to downtown Bentonville. Unlike their other branches, they’ll allow you to freely ride your bike into their space, which I really look forward to.
Besides, who doesn’t want more Airship Coffee? I certainly do, of course.
2. Airship Coffee at the Pumphouse
The second Airship Coffee, called Pump Street Location, will be at Pump Street, and I’m excited about that because it gives off an appealing 1950s vibe.
They’re hiring architects from Fayetteville, and their design is really interesting.
Again, Airship Coffee is a premier coffee brand in Bentonville and NWA in general, so it’s cool to see them expanding across the region. Hopefully, we’ll see them in Fayetteville, Springdale, and Rogers one day.
3. The Piano Bar in Rogers
If you have been to Dixon Street in Fayetteville, you’ll know The Piano Bar like the back of your hand. It is what it sounds like—piano music and a bar.
Many cities have piano bars; however, what makes this Piano Bar so special is the immense talent they have in musicians.
It’s so fun to go there and tell them to play whatever song you want, and they perform it excellently off the cuff. Owing to how fun the experience usually is, I believe you’ve been here if you’ve been to Dixon Street.
Fortunately, they’re opening a second location in downtown Rogers, Arkansas.
PS: Rogers has two different downtown locations. The first one is the Brick lake section down by the rail yard section, where you’ll find Onyx HQ and Splash Pad on the far east side of Rogers.
However, the new Piano Bar location will be on the other downtown section near the other side of Rogers. It’ll be closer to Topgolf, the Walmart Amphitheater, and the fantastic shopping sections on that side.
They just announced they have a long run before they finish up, but it will be a fun place to have another Piano Bar, and I will be there a lot.
4. The Tin Roof
The Tin Roof isn’t local to Northwest Arkansas. They have multiple locations across America. However, it’s cool to have a branch in Fayetteville.
Another thing I appreciate about the Tin Roof is its similarity to the Piano Bar, with a lot of live music, karaoke, and similar fun stuff.
It’s at the corner of Dixon in downtown Fayetteville, as they usually plant themselves in up-and-coming fun areas like in college sections.
Below are their opening hours:
- Monday 4 pm-12 am
- Tuesday-Friday 4 pm-2 am
- Saturday 11 am-2 pm
- Sunday 11 am-12 pm
Tin Roof also allows visitors to book their space for group events, from corporate meetings to birthday celebrations and bachelorette parties.
During this period, you can enjoy any of the following foods while enjoying live music:
- Pulled chicken with lettuce, tomato, Jack cheese, and any tasty wing sauce.
- Chicken tinga served with cotija cheese, chipotle-braised chicken, cilantro, and crema.
- Street corn containing Jack cheese, cotija, rib rub, lime, and cilantro.
- Field greens, a salad with cucumber, cherry tomato, honey-dijon, blue cheese, ranch, Jack cheese & croutons, choice of red wine vinaigrette.
- Buffalo chicken wrap of romaine lettuce, blue cheese crumbles, tomato, and buffalo chicken tenders.
The drink menu is also vast, with several seltzers, energizers, cocktails, and wines. You won’t want to miss happy hours from 2 pm-6 pm every weekday.
Hence if you are coming down to Fayetteville, check out the Tin Roof, right down the street from the Piano Bar. You will have a ton of fun there.
5. Specialized Bikes
Specialized Bikes only has a few locations in America. One is in Santa Cruz, California; another is in Boulder, Colorado, and the third is in Bentonville, Arkansas, which is incredible that they’ve chosen this location.
Specialized Bikes is what it sounds like:
- Specialized bikes
- Specialized trail bikes
- Specialized mountain bikes
If you are in the mountain biking or simply biking world, you’ll know Specialized Bikes.
The store will be at the bottom of the Ledger, right next to Airship. And it’s cool to bike up the whole building to Airship and Specialized Bikes.
