The Ledger – World’s First Bikeable Building. Part 2

The Ledger in Bentonville is so massive that I couldn’t cover every detail in the previous article. Here’s some more information about the world’s first bikeable building so you know why it’s worth a visit.

Ledger has sound booths that you can use for calls and zoom meetings without disturbance. The co-working spaces are well-equipped with several facilities, including a full kitchen that can be rented. The building also has access to excellent coffee through Airship.

There are offices everywhere for basic co-working spaces, and you can rent it out by the week, month, year, or anytime desired and have your own office in the Ledger. Also, another cool thing, of course, is that the Airship is at the bottom section of the building. Hence you can have coffee there and visit Specialized Bikes and other businesses working with you to help develop Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas.

What Makes the Ledger Special?

The Ledger’s central selling point is the ability to ride bikes throughout the building, which aligns with Bentonville’s most-treasured culture. However, there are many more perks of choosing their workspace over the others I shared in this article.

Ledger has quickly become one of the best workplaces in Northwest Arkansas for its serene setting and high-quality facilities. The furniture is cozy in every spacious, well-lit room on each floor. Moreover, members have exclusive access to exceptional amenities and assistance from on-site staff.

Working & hosting meetings in the Ledger is an exciting experience for several reasons and qualities discussed below.

1. Ledger Meets the Need of Bentonville’s Residents

As I’ve always shared on this blog, Bentonville and Northwest Arkansas are becoming more populous. People are moving here from across America because they recognize the numerous benefits.

After the 2020 national census, Bentonville ranked as the state’s fastest-growing city and 5th in the nation, with a growth rate of 7.4%.

Among the ripple effects of such massive growth was the increasing request for a premier workspace, as NWA doesn’t only attract retirees.

Fortunately, the Ledger opened some floors in late 2022 to meet the demands, much to the residents’ delight. It is now a working space for individuals and small and large companies to meet, discuss, and work.

Below is a list of the rates for The Ledger’s on-demand meeting spaces.

  • 6-Person Meeting Room – $42 per hour
  • 10-Person Meeting Room – $70 per hour
  • 12-Person Training Room – $84 per hour
  • 14-Person Board Room – $98 per hour
  • The Classroom (59-person capacity) – $120 an hour with a minimum 2-hour booking
  • The Brannon (20-person capacity) – $160 an hour with a minimum 2-hour booking

3. The Ledger is Close to Exciting Locations

You’ll be thankful for Ledger’s strategic location if you’re all in for NWA’s “live, work, and play” lifestyle. The building’s retail space houses three exciting venues, including the following.

  • Walmart Museum: Since the original museum is undergoing renovations through spring 2024, the Ledger is its new home, which workers can exploit till then.
  • Airship Coffee: The famous NWA coffee experts now have a branch on the building’s ground floor, a plus for coffee lovers.
  • Specialized Experience Center: It’s only right for the world’s first bikeable building to have such renowned bike equipment experts.

However, beyond the Ledger’s gateway is the heart of the city — Bentonville Square, a stone’s throw away.

There are incredible locations around during lunch breaks, whether you’re into biking, sightseeing, shopping, or craving a great meal. These are some of the most visited places around.

  • Art on The Square
  • 8th Street Market
  • ArkanSeoul Korean Food Company
  • Amy Keever Gallery
  • Slaughter Pen Trail
  • Bentonville Public Library
  • Block Street Records
  • Bloomhills Hair on the Square
  • Cacahuzintle
  • Cocoon Yoga Lab
