What Makes Leverett Lounge Unique

Since opening its doors in 2017, the Leverett Lounge has become a beloved hotspot for locals seeking a memorable experience.

In 2021, the restaurant underwent a change in management, but loyal fans of the place need not worry — the new owners, Reese Roberts and Corey McCain, are committed to maintaining the original charm and ambiance that made the Leverett Lounge such a popular spot in the first place.

With a deep appreciation for the lounge’s unique atmosphere and delicious cuisine, Roberts and McCain have made subtle tweaks to the decor and menu to keep things fresh while still honoring the lounge’s roots.

In the following sections, I’ll explore the key factors that have made the Leverett Lounge a go-to spot for Fayetteville locals and visitors alike:

The Decor and Ambiance

The Leverett Lounge is a feast for the senses, with a funky and eclectic interior that exudes a fun and laid-back vibe. The decor is an artful mishmash of styles and textures, with vintage furnishings, colorful murals, and eye-catching accents throughout.

There are also several “tchotchke,” or small, unique trinkets throughout the lounge. And this is probably the first time I’ve done this, but I actually filmed a video in the bathroom to capture the decor. It’s the most unique and cool bathroom I’ve seen so far.

The lounge features both indoor and outdoor seating options, and there’s no shortage of interesting details to catch your eye.

How the Atmosphere of the Leverett Lounge Contributes to Its Popularity

The unique atmosphere of the Leverett Lounge is a key factor in its popularity. With its eclectic decor, relaxed vibe, and friendly staff, the lounge offers a dining experience that is memorable and welcoming. The ambiance is perfect for everything from a casual night out with friends to a special occasion celebration.

Recommended Dishes at Leverett Lounge

Among the favorite appetizers is the “Queen Bee,” a delicious blend of goat cheese, fresh herbs, and honey, with spicy harissa and served with a sourdough baguette.

The “K.F.C” or Korean Fried Chicken, which can be swapped with cauliflower for vegetarians, is a standout entree that has received high praise from patrons. Prepared in sweet chili sauce, the chicken or cauliflower is served with jasmine rice and bean sprout salad. One reviewer said, “the chicken was so artfully spiced, and the rice was stupendous!”

Vegetarians will love the “Elle Driver,” which is rigatoni pasta tossed in a cashew cream and kale pesto sauce with mushrooms and butternut squash.

The menu offers small plates for sharing, allowing everyone to sample different dishes, or customers can opt to have a dish to themselves. Additionally, the dessert menu offers a vast range of options. One that comes highly recommended is the double chocolate fudge brownie served with cream or ice cream.

The drinks menu is equally diverse, featuring cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages to complement the meal.
