Getting Ready for the NWA Spring Market

There are so many people who want to move to Northwest Arkansas from other parts of the US. The first thing I would recommend before buying property out here is to visit. Of course, there are pros and cons to living in NWA, but it is an awesome area.

So many people come here because it’s really just a fun community. If you’ve never visited Northwest Arkansas then you’re in for a treat. The rivers, lakes, and landscapes are breathtaking. There are trails for miles and farmer’s markets galore. NWA is the place to be if you enjoy the outdoors.

Another reason why people are moving to NWA is for job opportunities. There are plenty of businesses, startups, and job opportunities to keep in mind. I moved here from Chicago three years ago because of how awesome Northwest Arkansas is. People are coming from California, Texas, and Florida to enjoy the affordable housing and beautiful scenery that NWA has to offer.

But if these weren’t enough reasons to get you excited about Northwest Arkansas, check out my article discussing 5 amazing things happening in NWA.

Visiting Northwest Arkansas

I would absolutely recommend taking a tour around Northwest Arkansas before you move here. You can check out my Youtube channel for more guides and information about which areas to visit. If you get in touch before you move, we can grab a coffee and visit some of my favorite places including Beville, Fayetteville, and Rogers.

You can drive down here for spring break or fly here, depending on where you’re coming from. Fayetteville is one of the best places to find fun things to do in NWA. There is a real community buzz around this time of year with plenty of festivals that celebrate art, music, and nature.

Also, I have a 3-day itinerary that can help you decide what activities to do if you’re overwhelmed by everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a foodie, a sports person, a sightseer, or want to spend quality time with your kids; I have something for you. Check out the link below to learn more:

Best Time To Visit NWA

Obviously, it’s great to visit all year long but springtime is the most magical time to plan a trip. The greenery, new growth, and trail systems are amazing. Springtime is such a great time because we have spring very early in NWA. It’s a fantastic experience and there are lots of outdoor events for you to enjoy.

It’s a great idea to bring the kids down for spring break, too. Spring is the perfect time for a fun family vacation that will be well worth your time. The first months of the year are always the best time to consider moving elsewhere for better opportunities and outdoor activities.

Bentonville has an exciting range of mountain biking trails for cyclists from all over the country. The community here is focused on outdoor culture, camping, and other cool activities that run throughout the year.

Tips for Selling and Buying

The busiest time in the housing market is April through June. You may find that houses also emerge during March. There is a big shuffle happening across America during this time.

The easiest thing to do is to sell your home. You can speak to your realtor about delayed occupancy if you need to stay in your home for a little while after it sells. I believe the maximum time you can stay is around 45 days until you are ready to move.

Delayed Occupancy

Delayed occupancy provides flexibility for families who need more time to find a new property before moving. The way this works is that you arrange an agreement with the current buyers so that you rent the property from them during your moving process.

You can easily find a new property in NWA by staying up to date and using my instant home update service.

Instant Home Updates

Property notifications are way too slow. I’ve created a new update service called ‘Instant Home Updates’ for information on homes for sale and rent. This service arrives directly into your email account and makes sure you don’t miss a single update.

Enter your information (square footage, number of rooms, and desired location) into an email or below and I can add you to the service. You’ll also receive information about what’s going on here in Northwest Arkansas. I promise you’ll be the most informed person by the time you arrive in NWA.

I can send you exactly what you’re looking for and you won’t miss a single notification. This way, you can find the absolute best home that Northwest Arkansas has to offer.

Short-Term Rental Options

One of the best ways to buy property in NWA is to rent a furnished property. This is a great option if you aren’t in a rush and want to check out the area before you buy a new home. You can put some things in storage and get down here to check out the area. This makes life a lot easier!

The housing market in Northwest Arkansas is going to be wild this spring. You can download my 3-day itinerary if you’re planning on visiting, and don’t forget to stay in touch for house tours and support with selling your home.
