Decor and Atmosphere

Though the real selling point of Con Quesos is its stellar dishes, I’d say its decor and overall atmosphere add to the experience. The interior is modern yet welcoming, featuring soft neutral hues and warm lighting. It’s just trendy enough to give you that feeling of dining out without losing that laid-back vibe people want to enjoy when out for tacos.

You can even sit on the several swinging seats scattered throughout the place, which add to the overall dynamic and fun atmosphere. Of course, you’ll want to be careful to stay steady while you’re eating — the last thing you want is for all that delicious food to go up the wrong end.

Dishes

Though most dishes served here are inspired by Mexican cuisine, the establishment prefers to describe its cooking style as “fusion.” That’s because the food here is refreshingly unique, boasting Mexican, Jamaican, and Mediterranean influences

So, while there might be some more traditional menu items here and there, the chefs at Con Queso have taken the liberty of creating some one-of-a-kind fusion dishes that will blow your mind (and tastebuds) away.

Moreover, the ingredients here are top-notch, which shows in the final product. All dishes are also made to order, so you can rest assured you won’t be eating stale, reheated tacos here.

Speaking of tacos, the place’s menu offers more than a dozen of them, so you’re sure to find something that you like. They also make several special dips, as well as shareables you can order for the whole table. You’ll find quesadillas, breakfast options, and a few children’s meals, meaning the whole family will be fed and happy.

Best of all, everything’s reasonably priced, so you can get a wonderful meal without breaking the bank. For example, the price of their tacos averages around $4, which is less than what you’d pay for a cup of coffee in some places.

Their menu options don’t end here, though. They also offer a mouth-watering selection of desserts, for which you’ll always have extra room in your stomach. They even offer complimentary cookies with certain meals, so you’re bound to try creations from their talented dessert chef.

Service

Though the food itself is in a league of its own, I still believe that the service quality really makes this place stand out from other Mexican food restaurants in the city. Their friendly staff will ensure you feel happy, welcomed, and taken care of. The open-style kitchen allows you to feel much more at ease about the food you’re consuming, as you can see firsthand the care, attention, and high-quality ingredients that go into it.

Speaking of service, they also offer plenty of options when it comes to how you want to enjoy your food. For example, you can choose to dine in, get takeaway, or even opt for no-contact delivery.

Business Hours

If you’re interested in checking out the place (and I don’t blame you), you’ll be pleased to learn that they operate six days a week, Monday to Saturday. They stay open for almost 12 hours per work day too, which is more than what you can say for most food places in the area.

During weekdays (Monday to Thursday), they open at 10 AM and close at 9 or 9:30 AM, depending on how busy they are. On Fridays and Saturdays, they tend to stay open a little longer, until 10 or even 10:30 AM (don’t quote me on that last one, though). Opening times remain the same all throughout the week.

Another thing to keep in mind here is that this schedule can be subject to changes, especially during national holidays, so if you happen to visit Arkansas during that time, make sure to check with the establishment first to make sure they’re open. You can call them at +1 479-334-5241.

Location

You can find Con Quesos at 101 W Johnson Avenue # D, near the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. Final Thoughts

Everything is pretty reasonably priced, so you won’t have to break the bank for a great meal at this place. Their dishes have a “gourmet” feel not because they’re small and pretentious but because they’ve obviously been made with care and attention. So, check out that schedule outlined above, get your shoes on, and run — don’t walk — to Con Quesos.
