About Rolling Taco Food Truck
I was lucky enough to check out Rolling Taco, located in Bentonville, Arkansas. I had heard so much about this food truck.
When I got there, it was packed. I did go during lunchtime, which might have been kind of a bad choice, but I’d heard so many good things about the food truck itself that I had to go and give it a try.
I’d recommend getting there early to avoid the crowds, but the food was absolutely incredible, so I understand why there were so many people there. They definitely have a good business model, being right next to Walmart headquarters!
Rolling Taco is open every day except Saturday and Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., which makes it a great lunch option. However, as mentioned above, it can get extremely busy, so be prepared if you go at peak hours. They are quick, though, so don’t be discouraged if you show up and see a long line.
Be sure to show up hungry, too! The portion sizes are large, especially considering the reasonable prices. Here’s a taste of what you can get:
- Rolling Tacos. A fan favorite, and for a good reason! With one order of this specialty menu item, you get three tacos made with six pure corn tortillas layered with cheese, homemade guacamole, and your choice of protein. Proteins include carne asada, campechano, al pastor, chicken, and veggies, so no worries if you’re a vegetarian!
- Mexican Street Tacos. With this entree, you’ll get five yummy tacos with your choice of various types of meat (I recommend the chorizo or carnitas!) or vegetables with fresh cilantro and grilled onion. You’ll also get delicious chile toreado and lime on the side.
- Mexican Burrito: Calling all burrito lovers! This large flour tortilla comes stuffed with your choice of meat or vegetables, rice, beans, lettuce, grilled onion, and melted mozzarella for a meal that is as delicious as it is filling!
- Rolling Salad. If you’re trying to scale back on your carb consumption, Rolling Taco has you covered! Their Rolling Salad is just as delicious, though, as you can fill your bowl with your choice of meat or veggies, lettuce, spinach, tomato, onion, sliced avocado, and a yummy house dressing.
- Quesadilla. Keep it simple with a quesadilla made with a large flour tortilla and your choice of protein, fresh mozzarella, and a side of lettuce, pico de gallo, and guacamole.
- Arroz y Frijoles. This one’s for the kiddos! This simple dish of rice and beans may be just what your child needs to get through to dinner.
If you’re in Bentonville, definitely check out Rolling Taco. It is well worth a trip and totally delicious.

If you love Mexican food and want to know about more options in the Bentonville area, I’ve got you covered. Here are some of my other favorite spots for Mexican in Bentonville:
- Yeyo’s. Yeyo’s is a family-run business that features Mexican food with soul, and they work with local farmers to give food back to the community. There are four versions throughout town, including two food trucks. All of their food is great, but I particularly enjoy their quesadilla for grownups and their loaded nachos. For more about Yeyo’s, check out my full article on Yeyo’s in Bentonville.
- Table Mesa Bistro & Bakery. Yep, you read that right–this spot is a bistro and a bakery! Try their oven-baked chorizo and chicken fundido, their macho nacho, or their fire bread next time you’re in the mood for a sit-down dinner, or try one of their delicious baked goods if you’re on the go. My personal favorite is the key lime tres leches cake. They also offer specialty and seasonal items for special occasions and weddings.
- Azul Tequila Bistro. For a more authentic taste of Mexico with fresh and unexpected twists, check out Azul Tequila. Not only is the food delicious, but the welcoming atmosphere and warm lighting make for a wonderful dining experience. Some of their popular menu items include the Baja Fish Tacos, De La Abuela Enchiladas, and their fajitas (choose between chicken, steak, and shrimp).
- Maria’s Mexican Restaurant. Maria’s Mexican is another good option for Mexican cuisine in Bentonville. Try their California fries, featuring melted cheddar cheese, steak, pico de gallo, guacamole, and serrano peppers.
Living in Arkansas doesn’t mean you have to give up on delicious Mexican cuisine, especially with these great options!
If you want a food truck but aren’t necessarily feeling Mexican, check out these trucks in the area:
- Crackerjack. This food truck features elevated comfort food, such as beef and pork meatloaf served on a kaiser roll, slow-smoked pork butt on Hawaiian bread, and a beef smoked sausage with sauerkraut and Alabama white sauce on a hoagie. This truck is based in Osage Park.
- Bartleby’s Seitan Shop. Located at Bentonville Brewing, this local favorite is your go-to for yummy vegan food. Try their deluxe sandwich, with spicy seitan, dill pickles, and fresh tomato, or the sloppy slaw sandwich. They also have a delicious mango pineapple kombucha you have to try.
- PinoLicious Filipino Kitchen. This food truck is truly a love letter to the iconic food of the Phillippines. Some of their mouthwatering entrees include sizzling pork sisig, lechon kawali, and pork BBQ on a stick.
Alternatively, if you aren’t necessarily looking for a food joint on wheels and just want to eat out somewhere that’s unique and lively, I recommend checking out my review of The Pressroom.
