5 New Businesses Coming To Northwest Arkansas

As more and more people come into Northwest Arkansas, so do businesses that want to cater to different needs. Some are original, brand-new companies unique to the area, while others are popular ones from other states that have decided to expand into NWA.

Some of the most interesting and fun businesses coming to Northwest Arkansas are So Chill Eat, The Beach BBQ, and Loma — restaurants offering different types of high-quality food. You can also check out Fayetteville Beer Works and the Smash Lab for a brand-new experience in the area.

If you want to know more, stick around! In the rest of this article, I’ll talk about all the businesses I mentioned above so you’ll know what to expect when you drop by.

1. So Chill Eat

The first new business on the list is So Chill Eat, which was originally located in Siloam Springs and is expanding to different places, including Rogers and Springdale. The restaurant mainly serves ramen, which is one of my favorite dishes.

Also, So Chill Eat specializes in Japanese, Taiwanese, and Chinese cuisine. That means you can try a whole bunch of Asian dishes like sushi, ramen, pho, etc. I’ve been to the original location in Siloam Springs, and really loved how bright and fun the color scheme was.

By the way, the Rogers location is already open, so if you get the chance, I think you should definitely check it out. This outlet is located south of Promenade and is surrounded by other eateries like Chick-fil-A and Burger King (if you’re driving through S 26th St), so it’s pretty easy to find.

2. The Beach BBQ

My second entry on the list is another food joint, namely The Beach BBQ. This one has only just recently opened in Bentonville. As a big fan of barbeque, I’m always excited whenever a new BBQ place opens in the area, and there are many of those around here.

The quality of barbeque in Northwest Arkansas is generally pretty high. The people here just know how to do it right, so it’s very rare to find a BBQ place that’s just mediocre around here. So, I have high expectations for this new place opening in Bentonville.

The Beach BBQ is located on Main Street, 102, and 14th Street, so it’ll be easy to find and convenient. I have yet to visit it, but when I do, I’ll be sure to really dive deep into all that BBQ goodness — so make sure you subscribe to my content and keep an eye out for that!

3. Loma

Our third entry is yet another restaurant, but I assure you it’s not one you’d want to miss. It’s an upscale Mexican restaurant in Rogers off Pinnacle Hills called Loma. The people behind this are the same ones who opened Tula in Downtown Fayetteville.

If you’ve been to Tula, you’re probably familiar with all their top-tier Mexican dishes, so I expect Loma to offer the same experience more or less. My clients who love Mexican cuisine said that the food at Tula is some of the best they’ve had, so this should be exciting news if you’re planning to try out Loma’s menu.

I haven’t been able to visit this place yet, but rest assured that I’ll be going there pretty often and will give you the lowdown on their tasty offerings. If you want to know more about restaurant choices in Northwest Arkansas, check out my other article.

Also, I have a 3-day itinerary that can help you decide what activities to do if you’re overwhelmed by everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer.

4. Fayetteville Beer Works

As you can guess from the name, Fayetteville Beer Works is a new brewery opening in Fayetteville. My sources tell me that the person opening this brewery is the same one who owns the Renegade Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado, which is very exciting considering the quality of their drinks.

I think this new brewery is a great addition to the area, bringing a fun, artisan style of brewing that all beer lovers can enjoy. There are plenty of existing breweries in Arkansas right now, but a brand new one with a different philosophy and traditions will definitely bring new and cool things to the area — like more tourism (which doesn’t hurt one bit).

I’m excited to see what Fayetteville Beer Works is going to bring to the area — whether it’s the same brewing quality they had back in Colorado or whether they’re trying something new. Either way, I think it’s worth checking out.

And much like Fayetteville’s own brewery, did you hear about all the advancements in the Bentonville farmer’s market? If not, check out the link for my article discussing all that and more. Overall, I can see NWA becoming a self-sufficient force of nature in the coming years.

5. Smash Lab

Our fifth and last entry is a bit of a weird one and the first of its kind in Northwest Arkansas. The Smash Lab is coming to Fayetteville, and you have to check it out! Smash labs, or destruction rooms, aren’t exactly unknown in the United States, but they are quite rare, so it’s nice to see that Northwest Arkansas is getting one.

If you don’t know what a smash lab is, you can use your imagination because it’s exactly what it sounds like. A smash lab is where you can pay to smash and break things. You may be thinking that you don’t need a smash lab if you can just do that in your backyard, but this is different.

Most people don’t have the chance to get in a room and just break everything in it without a care in the world. This is a unique experience that allows you to take a bunch of bottles, computers, and printers from office space and just go to town (while wearing safety gear, of course). Smash Lab is there for you to get your frustrations out in the most fun way imaginable.

I am excited for this lab to come to Fayetteville because I have already had the chance to try a smash lab back in Chicago and Kansas City. It’s a freeing and interesting experience. You have a wall of weapons that you can choose to destroy everything inside the room (including a BB gun!). Overall, I think this will be a fun, cool, and exciting new experience, which is definitely better with a group of people
