Upward Ninja

One of the most exciting things about Northwest Arkansas is mountain biking. On top of that, there’s been massive progress in water sports, bouldering, and climbing. And that’s where Upward Ninja comes in.

It is located in Siloam Springs, close to the Oklahoma border but still part of Northwest Arkansas. Though I don’t talk a lot about Siloam Springs, there are a lot of upcoming developments there worth checking.

Upward Ninja occupies a space of 11,500 square feet (1,068 square meters), and its interior terrain has obstacles suitable for bouldering and rock climbing. If you’re doing obstacle course racing or want to burn some energy, you can test your strength on the facility’s salmon ladder, warped wall, or Ninja Warrior-inspired obstacles.

It also has a gym area ideal for both children and grown-ups. So, if you’re looking for unique fitness training, the place has got you sorted.

This business also offers group fitness classes to keep you motivated and to help you train the right way. Additionally, they’ll be incorporating America Ninja Warrior classes in the fall of 2022.

In addition, you can make epic birthday memories at Upward Ninja by booking a reservation. The party packages include 1 hour and 45 minutes of non-stop fun with access to the party room and gym floor.

Tipsy Donut

Think for a minute about two of the most incredible food and drinks in the world paired together in one business. Did Tipsy Donut cross your mind? I hope it did because it’s the second new business on our list. It’s a new business in downtown Rogers where other up-and-coming companies and music venues exist.

Though it’s a common practice to pair your donut with a beverage like coffee or tea, Tipsy Donut serves custom donuts with craft beer, and there can never be a better pairing than this. Apart from the tasty flavor, the pairing also has scientific benefits.

The acidity in craft beer has antioxidant properties that break down the fats and oils in the donut that could harm the body. The mixture also is rich in silicon which boosts the body’s cognitive abilities

Check out Tipsy Donut if you find yourself in downtown Rogers. It’s also a fun place to go with your friends and family, so you can make your visit a fun day out!

Also, I have a 3-day itinerary that can help you decide what activities to do if you’re overwhelmed by everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer.

As creative people are here in NWA, here are some weird businesses on NWA

Hills Hideaway

Hills Hideaway is an upscale restaurant in downtown Fayetteville. The look of their menu immediately tells you that they serve custom food that is not typical in other restaurants. The inspiration for their flavors comes from the founder’s upbringing. They have dishes from the east, the west, and the south. They also have a kid’s menu, making it a suitable spot for family dinners.

The restaurant opens at 11:00 am and closes at midnight. And if you want to enjoy their meals while still at your apartment, you can place your order online.

They have plenty of outdoor and indoor space, so you don’t need to make any reservations. When you visit the place, you need not worry about your car because there is public parking in front of the restaurant.

The other feature of this restaurant is the ability to accommodate events. They can comfortably host you if you have a rehearsal dinner, family gathering, school function, or work dinner. They have open areas that can accommodate up to 100 people, semi-private spaces, and a covered patio for all your needs.

If you are coming down to Fayetteville and looking to eat something, check out Hills Hideaway for lunch, dinner, or a fun day out with friends.

Dumpster Detail

The next business is ideal for every residential and commercial building. It’s called Dumpster Detail, and its services are all over Northwest Arkansas. It specializes in cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing even the dirtiest dumpster.

Whether you live in a big or small city, you’ll likely have several pounds of garbage in your dumpster at the end of the week. Some of the organic waste, detergents, and liquids in the trash bags inevitably leak. This results in putrid and disgusting substance pooling at the bottom of the container and emitting a foul smell.

I thought I would always clean my dumpster, but when it gets to this point, you realize it is horrible and not fun to do yourself. Dumpster Detail is your go-to place if you are like me and want to have your dumpster cleaned a couple of times a year.

Their truck is a robotic system that uses heated water, high pressure, and eco-friendly chemicals to clean your dumpster in a few minutes. Keeping your dumpsters clean will help eliminate hazardous bacteria and fungi, control pests, and prevent wastewater pollution.

Lacaida Ropes

There is a whole new section of Northwest Arkansas dedicated to rock climbing and bouldering – and Lacaida Ropes is the latest business in Rogers that’s capitalizing on this. It specializes in producing the prettiest and safest climbing ropes in Northwest Arkansas and beyond.

Lacaida Ropes aims to advance modern climbing by producing metered ropes with a specific and patent style. The ropes have:

  • Safe rappelling, which helps you keep track of how much rope is remaining before reaching the end.
  • Faster coiling because you can find ends and midpoints by counting up or down the metered markings.
  • Heat shrinks to re-seal rope ends after cutting.

The unique thing about this business is that it went through the University of Arkansas and got a grant or a seed program fund.
